Hey guys! It is currently summer break for me at the moment but also not really, because I am taking 4 summer classes. I know, crazy right? But you know what they say, work hard now play hard later haha. Anyways, so one of the four classes that I am taking is called "Writing for Social Media." One of my big assignments is to pick a topic that I am passionate about and write about it every week. So, I just wanted to let you know that for the next couple weeks, I will be posting mainly about my favorite healthy food recipes. Yay! Something that you guys might not know about me is that I love eating unique healthy foods. By no means am I a health freak or never eat junk (cause trust me, i do) but I have learned to incorporate super-foods into my diet and I try to stay clear of meats and processed foods. I have learned over many years of research about what food can do to our bodies and how powerful they can be.
Did you know that food alone has actually cured people from cancer? People have saved themselves from dying by simply changing their eating habits! Did you know that processed meats have been hugely linked to causing cancer? Bacon, chicken nuggets, ham, roast beef, burgers, all of that. These are facts people. Education is power.
My posts will be including my favorite healthy breakfast ideas, snacks, lunch options and dinner plates. I have always been a huge foodie and I am super passionate about putting the right ingredients into my body. Most of my recipes are vegan or vegetarian because that is what I feel the best consuming. I am always creating new recipes in my kitchen so I thought this would be the perfect topic for me! I hope this lil food series will teach you easy ways to make delicious healthier choices :)
